This restraunt has been undergoing a number of changes, and has new ownership. The new people have done a TREMENDOUS job in upgrading the entire facility - dark wood paneling, tin ceiling, GREAT AMBIANCE. We had dinner there the other night, and the service was AWESOME. Always attentive, never pushy. The menu us varied and the prices are extremely reasonable. I had the Barbecued Ribs (very tender, good flavor) while my wife had the Salmon - she said it was DELICIOUS. Our dining partners had the Fish Fry (excellent) and the small filet - meat was very good, however they use a pepper based rub - if you are not a pepper fan, ask for it without. Overall, the new owners are doing a tremendous job in the rehab of this place. Food is good, and service excellent. I highly recommend this place !!

After a very long complete remodel we tried the Friday night fish fry. The place is beautiful, the staff professional and attentive, drinks are very good and reasonably priced and best of all the food is very good to excellent. We have eaten in this area for thirty years and this restaurant is on a scale with Riverstone in Eagle River and has no equal until you get to Marquette, MI to the north and Duluth, MN to the west.

Terrific food! Service was good but the food was awesome. Ate here twice with buddies on fishing trips and it was unanimous that this place was great!

Awesome food. Awesome service. Awesome prices. Awesome atmosphere. An absolute go to place if you are near the Wisconsin/UP border. Keep in mind it is a supper club so there are several courses and it will take a while but it is well worth the patience. The poorman's lobster and the steaks were extremely good as was the Horseradish-cheddar spread.

The stuffed shrimp is a garlicky, buttery heaven. I have never been disappointed by this place. Consistently awesome every time.

Red man is true to the supper club theme. The progression of the meal is amazing. It starts with bread and butter on steroids. You get crackers and awesome horseradish cheddar cheese spread and other nibbles. Followed by a generous salad course served family style. The entrees are excellent but the potato seem fake and the vegetables frozen. In my option if you can get the proteins right, why skimp out on the sides. The bar is also lacking. Less choices then one is used to in the Northwoods. Also they serve canned beer. Canned beer just doesn't fit with the quality of the food.
